Download Vent : http://www.ventrilo.com/download.php

Then Have it installed.

Click the arrow next to User Name and the white bar. A pop up should occur.

Click new. Type in the name you want to be recongize on vent.

Click Ok.

Click the arrow next to Server. Click new. Name the server Audacity.

Type in the Hostname and Port Number given up there ^ and leave password blank.

Click Ok. And then click on connect on the right bar! [;

Apparently on mic I sound like a 6 year old child ._. as said by Aaron and Pro. So I don't think your's would be any worse than minesss lawl. I have a built-in mic on my laptop and for some odd reason, the old mic I bought before I got this laptop doesn't work on this laptop either ... maybe try playing around the settings on vent to get your built-in mic to work.
